The government has declared the online download of the Aadhar Card and that will be done under the support of the UIDAI and will help cardholders to show and download the aadhar card online with the easy link that is provided to the cardholders by UIDAI. It is to inform that as it is one of the important document wherever you go. You cannot avail yourself of any government schemes if you do not have an aadhar card. It has become mandatory so during such pandemic times of coronavirus, it has become easier for cardholders to easily download it from the link that is provided.
Also, UIDAI has shared the link through the social media platform Twitter, where one can download their aadhar card. There are many other things that come across while downloading. 12 digits unique code that is present on the aadhar card will be seen with the last 4 digits of the whole number. Either the cardholder can download the number from the aadhar card or the masked aadhar card.

At the top of the page, there will be three options available.
Three options are basically steps to download an aadhar card
1. Enter the 12 unique digits of the aadhar card.
2. Enter the enrollment ID.
3. Send OTP for verification, aadhar number will be received to aadhar cardholder through SMS
After entering the OTP, the aadhar number will be received after the verification. The OTP will be sent to the registered number with the aadhar card. After verification from the OTP number that is received through SMS, download and save it.
Aadhar card will be downloaded in PDF format and it will be known as e-aadhar. Once it is downloaded, a person will have a special password for opening it for accessing it once it is downloaded.
