One of the renowned English writer Manoj Das expires

We lost a legend. One of the renowned bilingual writers mostly knows for his expertise in dramatic satire. Also, a philosopher where he drew sketches that marked the social and psychological issues amongst the people. Also, he portrayed the common people and their problems with describing human nature. 

He is the Padma Awardee of the 20th century for being the marvelous Odia and English writer. He was very sick for a long time now and was hospitalized in Puducherry. As he was almost 87 years old, he had some old age sickness and we lost a gem of India. 

By praying the tribute our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on the demise of Monoj Das and condolence to his family. Twitter went like  “He made rich contributions to English and Odia literature. He was a leading exponent of Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family. Om Shanti,” 

Paying tribute to Das, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Das distinguished himself as a noted educationist, popular columnist, and prolific writer. “He made rich contributions to English and Odia literature.
